About Leeza Villagomez

E-RYT 500, Owner and founder of the Yoga Den Health Spa and Yoga School, formally a Ford Model and having lived in more than 15 countries, it’s no coincidence Yoga came to be a way of living for Leeza. Yoga is what kept her balanced, grounded and healthy. It was her love of Yoga and commitment to the practice and ability to enjoy the ebb and flow that kept her balanced during her twelve years in the often grueling and hectic world of modeling, where the opposite dualities of both a health consciousness, as well as a party heavy lifestyle, are present. Over the course of many years Leeza has had the pleasure of studying many different styles of yoga with radiant teachers such as Beth Shaw, Dharma Mittra, Saul David Raye, Shvia Rae, and Marla Apt to name a few. The years of continuous study have given her an eclectic fun, flowing teaching style that resonates with her students. Leeza opened her studio the Yoga Den in 2000 and has evolved over the years into an international 500HR Yoga Alliance Certifed School. She has created a space of oneness where everyone is welcomed to come practice in sacred space with a wide range of classes including Gentle Yoga, Meditation, Aireal Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, and many more. In addition to the studio, Over the last 10 years, Leeza also stays connected with the local community through her involvement in Soroptimist, the global women’s organization specializing in women helping women. Off the mat she makes time for family, friends and a life filled with gratitude. Living by the motto that Yoga is a lifestyle and a continuing practice. She is a model of making it matter as she teaches “We Matter”.
