Shakti United, heart-child of Gospel Kirtan songstress, Johanna Beekman, is an international initiative to celebrate Shakti in all her forms, dedicated to healing and supporting the divine feminine creative force.
Shakti United is an opportunity for powerful women deeply rooted in their practices and offerings in their local communities to share events, bringing modern-day priestesses together to share their incredible voices on a bigger scale. In so doing, we are able to see and support each other, and rise together to our fullest potential. Together, we are healing and elevating the female cultural experience.

A portion of each Shakti United event ticket & retail sale goes to Mitrata-Nepal Foundation for Children. This 501C3 is devoted to providing education, rehabilitative day programs, hygiene & nutrition education, and healthcare to girls in Nepal so that they, too, can rise. One of the poorest and least developed countries in the world, Nepal ranks 200th out of 230 countries in GDP, with 25% of its population living well below the poverty line.
Narayani is a full-time Kunga Yoga teacher, facilitator, and devotional music artist who has travelled the world in Seva since 2006. She offers a journey of sound: a deeply soulful blend of traditional sacred chant with modern twists. bof Reggae, Native Spiritual chants, Gospel, Traditional Hindustani music, and her own heart-felt lyrics. Amah Devi is a Bhakti Yoga & Mantra Music teacher who guides from a place of pure love and devotion. Known for her frank and authentic approach to spiritual practice, Amah Devi shares music as medicine. Each event has its own unique flavor and feel; each note melts the sense of separation between the self and the Divine Self.
