Free Your Soul’s Voice Playshop for women
Horizontal singing time at the end of a workshop
This workshop is an upbeat, playful exploration designed to empower women to discover their authentic voices in a safe container for expression and transformation. Through sound, movement, rhythm, speech, and song, Johanna helps participants to unlearn their ideas about singing and speaking and learn how to tune and care for the human instrument. Inspired by the safe, playful energy of the space, we create and explore light-hearted chants and harmonies, layering together our perfectly unique voices, just for the joy and freedom of it. (Not to mention health and nervous system benefits!) No previous singing or chanting experience is necessary.
Kirtan / Conscious Music:
Come experience the shared heartbeat of kirtan and devotional singing with Johanna Beekman and friends. Johanna’s unforgettable songs will open your heart and inspire you on your journey long after the last note fades into silence.
Live Music Yoga: Let Love Rule: Soulful Bhakti Flow with Emily Perry
Love is our true nature: deepen your heart connection as you root in love & possibility. Soulful Bhakti vinyasa will carry you into the cave of the heart so you can align with love. Expect innovative sequencing, chanting, mudra, and soulful expansion.
In Lullaby Yoga, Johanna gently guides you through a series of deeply relaxing poses while singing and playing soothing songs and chants. Her class uses principles from restorative yoga, therapeutic yoga, yoga nidra, and subtle body and breath work. The music provides a luxurious, peaceful space for the mind to rest while the body relaxes, rebalances, and restores itself. Optional aromatherapy and gentle adjustments from experienced body and energy workers Dharma Fears, Grant Ifflander, and Jaden Ramsey.
